Been for a meal at Piste?

We would really appreciate the feedback

A superb dining experience. The decor is pithced just right for the location and the staff are all excellent with the pacing of the service being particularly impressive. The meat quality was outstanding as were the breads, olive oil, vegetables and so on and on. Good wine list too at sensible prices.

We went for lunch at the Piste Wine Bar & Restaurant in Tarporley and it was a fantastic dining experience for a Sunday afternoon. The menu was extremely good value, all of the courses were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We would highly recommend the beef sunday lunch and risotto! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was a little quiet as I dont think many would consider going to this restaurant for lunch but it was exceptional and we will be going again

What a wonderful change to find a restaurant where the staff actually care about the whole customer experience. We moved to the area 9 months ago and have been very disappointed by the impersonal service & meadioc food in a lot of the local eateries. This was not the case at Piste. We arrived (without a booking) at 9pm on a Sunday evening expecting to be turned away or receive a rather rushed meal. Not at all, the warm service, the wonderful food and relaxed atmosphere all contributed to a lovely evening. At £18.95 per head for a 3 course meal and 1/2 price sparkly wine the experience could not have been better. We have already arranged to return with some friends next week. Thank you

Four of us went for the very first time on Friday January 14th 2011 as we had been recommended by a friend. We had booked a table for 7:45pm and arrived at 7:30pm for pre dinner drinks. The bar area is downstairs with the main restaurant upstairs. There were quite a few people in the bar and there was a good atmosphere. We were served drinks by very friendly and efficient staff. The beer was real ale from Cumbria and it was great. We were presented with our menus and there was an excellent choice of fare. We weren’t hurried by staff and when we were ready our order was taken. When our starters were ready, we were taken upstairs to our table and our drinks were carried up for us. The restaurant layout was great. Tables were far enough away from each other to ensure you didn’t feel overheard / claustrophobic and were very well presented. We all agreed that our 3 courses were excellent as was the wine we ordered. Service also also excellent. The total bill for the four of us (including all drinks and two of us had the ‘melt in the mouth’ fillet steaks!) came to £140, which inclided our voluntary 10% gratuity. Great place, great food, great service. Simply the best restaurant in the Cheshire area!!!!
